Bank of Baroda, one of India's leading public sector banks, has announced a major recruitment drive for 419 positions in the MSME Banking vertical. Educational Qualification Required

Additionally, professional qualifications like CA (Chartered Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) are preferred for credit and risk management roles.

For contractual positions, a graduation degree with relevant certifications and 2-5 years of work experience in banking, financial services, or MSME lending is required. Candidates with prior experience in credit appraisal, business development, or relationship management in MSME segment will be given preference.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit varies from 32 to 40 years depending on the post applied for. For Manager positions, the age limit is 32 years, while for Senior Manager roles, it extends up to 40 years as on the date of notification. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules - 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD).

Ex-servicemen candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per the length of service in armed forces plus 3 years, subject to maximum age limit of 50 years. Bank employees and candidates from other reserved categories will get relaxation as per bank policy and government guidelines.

Application Fee

The application fee structure is as follows: For General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, the fee is Rs. 850/-. For SC/ST/PwBD category candidates, the fee is Rs. 175/- only. The fee includes GST and payment gateway charges. Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI modes only.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before making the payment. In case of multiple applications, only the latest application will be considered valid, and fee paid for earlier applications will not be refunded.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of multiple stages including Online Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. The Online Test will comprise questions on Professional Knowledge, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The test will be of 90-120 minutes duration depending on the post.

Candidates qualifying in the online test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the combined performance in all stages. Candidates should note that merely qualifying in the test does not confer any right for selection. The bank reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.

Salary and Benefits

For regular positions, the salary will be as per Bank of Baroda's applicable pay scale. Manager positions fall under JMGS-I scale with basic pay in the range of Rs. 48,170 to Rs. 69,810 plus DA, HRA, CCA, and other allowances as applicable. The total CTC works out to approximately Rs. 10-12 lakhs per annum including perquisites.

For contractual positions, the remuneration is market-based and competitive, ranging from Rs. 3.5 lakhs to Rs. 7 lakhs per annum depending on the role and location. Other benefits include medical insurance, provident fund, gratuity, and performance-based incentives. Regular employees are also eligible for various welfare schemes and retirement benefits.
