Age Limit Details

For General Category Posts:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01-01-2026)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST/OSC categories: 5 years
• RBA/ALC/PSP categories: As per J&K Reservation Rules
• PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms

The age will be calculated as on 1st January 2026. Candidates must submit valid age proof documents during document verification.

Educational Qualification Requirements

The educational qualifications vary according to the post applied for. Candidates must possess the following qualifications from recognized institutions:

• For Technician Posts (Laboratory Group): Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or B.Sc in relevant disciplines with required experience
• For Technician Posts (Medical Group): Diploma or Bachelor's degree in relevant medical technology streams
• For Staff Nurse G-II: B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with valid registration
• For Pharmacist: B.Pharma or Diploma in Pharmacy with registration with Pharmacy Council
• For Medical Record Assistant: Bachelor's degree with relevant certification in medical records management
• For Speech Therapist: Post Graduate degree/diploma in Speech Therapy and Audiology
• For Attendant and Nursing Aid: 10th or 12th standard pass from recognized board

Note: All qualifications must be from institutions recognized by appropriate regulatory bodies. Candidates must possess valid registration certificates wherever applicable.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be done through a comprehensive multi-stage process designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and suitability of applicants:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type examination covering relevant subjects based on the educational qualification and post requirements. The test will include questions on General Knowledge, Professional Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Aptitude.
2. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for document verification where all original certificates and testimonials will be verified.
3. Skill Test (if applicable): For certain technical posts, practical/skill tests may be conducted to assess the candidate's practical knowledge and proficiency.
4. Medical Examination: Finally selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination to ensure physical and mental fitness for the post.

Merit List Preparation: The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination, subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria and successful completion of document verification.
