Application Fee

• For UR-Male, OBC-Male, EWS Male: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred) to those who actually appear in the written examination)
• For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination)

RRC Eastern Railway Recruitment 2025 Important Dates

• Date of Publication of Notification on website: 02-07-2025
• Starting Date for Apply Online: 09-07-2025 at 10:00 hrs.
• Last Date for Apply Online: 08-08-2025 at 18:00 hrs.
• Tentative date of Written Exam: 2nd week of October
• DV call will be within 10 days from publishing of result of written examination
• Date of Written Test and other stages of recruitment process will be intimated from time to time through the website. (www.rrcer.org)

RRC Eastern Railway Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 30 Years
• OBC: Relaxation up to 3yrs. In upper age
• SC/ ST: Relaxation up to 5yrs. In upper age

Qualification

Level – 2 (Group 'C'): 

• Passed 12th (+2stage) or its equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate, from govt. recognized Education Board/Council/Institution etc. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC, ST, ESM and PwBD candidates and candidates having higher qualification from UGC recognized University.
• 10th pass from Government recognized Board plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) /ITI approved by NCVT (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification).

Level – 1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’)

• 10th pass from Government recognized Board OR 10th pass from Government recognized Board plus ITI/National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) approved by NCVT

Salary

• Level – 2 (Gr. ‘C’): GP Rs.1900/-
• Level- 1 (Erstwhile Gr. ‘D’): GP Rs.1800/-
