⏳ Age Limit
- Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date of application. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwBD candidates, and up to 5 years for departmental candidates as per Government of India rules. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be as per Government norms.
🎓 Qualification
Educational Qualification and Experience
Essential Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College/University
- Must be registered with Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council
- Valid registration certificate is mandatory
Experience:
As per Recruitment Rules of National Institutes of Technology, 2019:
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in clinical practice
- Experience in handling OPD and emergency medical services
- Knowledge of public health and preventive medicine
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post-graduation (MD/MS/Diploma) in General Medicine, Family Medicine, or Community Medicine
- Experience in educational institution health centers
- Knowledge of common medical emergencies and their management
- Computer literacy for maintaining digital health records
Additional Skills Required:
- Good clinical examination and diagnostic skills
- Ability to handle medical emergencies
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
- Compassionate approach towards patients
- Administrative and organizational abilities
🎯 Selection Process
- Selection will be as per NIT Recruitment Rules 2019 and may include written test and/or personal interview. The selection committee will assess candidates on professional knowledge, clinical skills, general awareness, and personality. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email/website. The decision of the selection committee will be final. Selected candidates must submit medical fitness certificate before joining.
