Post-wise Vacancy Details

The total number of vacancies is 418 positions distributed across various IT roles at Officer, Manager, and Senior Manager levels. The key positions include:

Software Developer / Application Developer - Development and maintenance of banking applications, core banking systems, mobile apps, and web portals. Technologies include Java, .NET, Python, Angular, React, and microservices architecture. Database Administrator (DBA) - Management of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB databases ensuring data integrity, security, backup, and performance optimization. Network Administrator / Engineer - Managing bank's LAN, WAN, MPLS networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and ensuring network security and availability.

Information Security Officer / Cyber Security Analyst - Implementing security policies, conducting vulnerability assessments, managing SIEM tools, incident response, and ensuring compliance with RBI cybersecurity guidelines. Infrastructure Manager - Managing data centers, servers (physical and virtual), storage systems, backup solutions, disaster recovery infrastructure, and cloud migration projects. Digital Banking Specialist - Developing and managing digital banking channels including mobile banking, internet banking, UPI, payment gateways, and API integrations.

Technical Architect - Designing enterprise architecture, solution architecture for core banking, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies like AI/ML and blockchain. DevOps Engineer - Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure, and monitoring tools. Educational Qualification Requirements

For Officer / Manager positions in Software Development and Application Development: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or equivalent from AICTE approved institution or recognized university. MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from a recognized university is also acceptable. Relevant industry certifications like Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Professional, AWS Certified Developer, or similar certifications are advantageous.

For Database Administrator positions: BE/B.Tech/MCA with specialization or certification in database technologies. Oracle DBA certification (OCA/OCP), Microsoft SQL Server certification, or MongoDB certification are highly preferred. For Network Administrator positions: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics with CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), or equivalent networking certifications.

For Cyber Security positions: BE/B.Tech/MCA with certifications like CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification. For Senior Manager and Technical Architect positions: ME/M.Tech or equivalent postgraduate degree with relevant experience and advanced certifications. All degrees must be from UGC/AICTE recognized institutions obtained through regular full-time mode. Distance education or correspondence degrees are not acceptable for these positions.

Experience Requirements

For Officer level positions (JMGS-I): Minimum 1-3 years of relevant IT experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments. Fresh graduates with exceptional skills and relevant certifications may also apply for certain positions. For Manager level positions (MMGS-II/III): Minimum 3-7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in specialized IT domains with proven track record of managing projects or teams.

For Senior Manager positions (SMGS-IV/V): Minimum 7-12 years of progressive experience in IT domain with at least 3-5 years in supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in banking or financial services sector is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in implementing core banking solutions (like Finacle, Flexcube), digital banking platforms, payment systems, or regulatory compliance systems will be given preference.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The minimum age is 22 years, and maximum age varies from 32 to 37 years depending on the post and level. For Officer positions (JMGS-I), the maximum age is 30-32 years. For Manager positions, the maximum age is 35 years. For Senior Manager positions, the maximum age is 37-40 years as on 01 January 2026. Age is calculated as on the date mentioned in the advertisement.

Upper age relaxation is provided as per Government of India norms and Bank policy: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years relaxation, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) get 10 years relaxation (15 years for SC/ST-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD), Ex-servicemen get age relaxation as per Defense Ministry rules, and Bank of Baroda employees appearing through internal channel get relaxation up to 45 years as per bank policy. Cumulative age relaxation is not allowed except for SC/ST-PwBD and OBC-PwBD categories.

Application Fee

The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates is Rs. 850/- (including GST and payment gateway charges). For SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 175/- only. Female candidates of all categories also need to pay Rs. 175/- only (concessional rate).

The fee can be paid only through online mode using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. No other mode of payment is accepted. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should ensure their eligibility before making payment. In case of multiple applications, only the latest application will be considered, and fee paid for earlier applications will not be refunded.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of Online Examination followed by Personal Interview. The Online Examination will be conducted at various centers across India and will comprise questions on Professional Knowledge (relevant to the post applied), Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness (with focus on banking), English Language, and Computer Knowledge. The exam duration will be 90-120 minutes depending on the post, with separate section-wise timing.

The online test will have both objective (multiple choice) and descriptive questions. For technical positions, practical tests or coding assessments may be conducted either online or during interview stage. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the online test (40% for General/EWS, 35% for OBC, 30% for SC/ST/PwBD) and ranking sufficiently high in the merit list will be shortlisted for Personal Interview.

Personal Interview will carry 50-100 marks (depending on the post level) and will assess candidate's technical knowledge, domain expertise, problem-solving skills, communication ability, and overall suitability for the position. The interview will be conducted by a panel of senior bank officials and external IT experts. Final selection will be based on aggregate performance in Online Test and Personal Interview combined in a specified ratio (usually 75:25 or 80:20).

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be appointed in various scales depending on the position. Officer positions (JMGS-I) carry pay scale with basic pay range of Rs. 31,705 to Rs. 62,685 in the pay scale with initial basic of approximately Rs. 31,705 plus DA, HRA, CCA, and other allowances. The total CTC at JMGS-I level works out to approximately Rs. 7.5 to Rs. 9 lakhs per annum.

Manager positions (MMGS-II/III) carry pay scales with initial basic ranging from Rs. 42,020 to Rs. 63,840 depending on the scale, with total CTC of Rs. 10 to Rs. 14 lakhs per annum. Senior Manager positions (SMGS-IV/V) have pay scales with initial basic of Rs. 63,840 to Rs. 76,010 with total CTC ranging from Rs. 15 to Rs. 20 lakhs per annum including all perquisites and allowances.

Online registration commencement date: 30 January 2026 (from 10:00 AM). Last date for online registration: 19 February 2026 (up to 11:59 PM). Last date for payment of application fee: 19 February 2026 (up to 11:59 PM). Candidates are advised to complete registration and fee payment well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or server congestion.

Tentative date of Online Examination: March 2026 (exact date to be intimated through admit card). Admit cards will be available for download on the bank's recruitment portal approximately 10-15 days before the exam date. Personal Interview dates: April/May 2026 (for shortlisted candidates, exact schedule will be intimated separately). Result declaration: May/June 2026 (tentative). New candidates must first register by providing basic details including name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, and creating a password. Login using registration number and password. Fill the detailed online application form providing accurate information about personal details, educational qualifications (including degree details, university name, year of passing, percentage/CGPA), professional experience (company names, designations, duration, roles), technical skills and certifications, post preference, and examination center preference.

Upload scanned copies of recent passport size color photograph (file size 20-50 KB in JPG format with dimensions 200x230 pixels), signature (file size 10-30 KB in JPG format with dimensions 140x60 pixels), left thumb impression (scanned in grayscale, 20-50 KB, JPG format), and hand-written declaration as per format given in the advertisement. Ensure all scanned images are clear and meet the specified requirements.

After completing all fields and uploading documents, proceed to the payment section. Pay the application fee through preferred online mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI). After successful payment, you will receive payment confirmation. Now submit the final application form. After submission, download and take multiple printouts of the system-generated application form for future reference. The printout must be carried during the examination and interview.

Documents Required

Candidates must keep the following documents ready for verification at the time of interview and joining: Educational certificates and mark sheets (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-graduation, and all years/semesters), Professional certifications (IT certifications, training certificates), Experience certificates from all previous employers (on company letterhead with seal and signature), Relieving letters or resignation acceptance from previous employers, Salary slips or Form-16 as proof of experience and designation, Date of birth proof (10th certificate or birth certificate), Caste certificate issued by competent authority (for SC/ST/OBC candidates claiming reservation), EWS certificate valid for current financial year (for EWS candidates), PwBD certificate issued by authorized medical board (if applicable), Recent passport size photographs (same as uploaded in application), Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License), and Printout of online application form with fee payment receipt.

Additional Information

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 1-2 years from the date of joining during which their performance will be assessed. Satisfactory completion of probation is mandatory for confirmation in service. Candidates may be posted anywhere in India based on bank's requirements. Initially, postings will be at Regional Offices, Zonal Offices, IT Centers, or Head Office in Mumbai/Vadodara.

Selected candidates may be required to execute a service bond for 3 years as per bank policy. Breaking the bond will attract penalty as per terms. Bank reserves the right to cancel the entire recruitment process or any stage thereof without assigning any reason. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease.
