Age Limit and Relaxation Details
The upper age limit for Unreserved (UR) or General category candidates is 27 years as calculated on the reference date of 21st January 2026. Age relaxation provisions are available for reserved category candidates as per Government of India norms. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates receive 5 years of age relaxation, making their maximum permissible age 32 years. Selection Process and Interview Schedule

Important Terms and Conditions
Selected candidates must deposit a refundable security amount of Rs. 25,000 in the form of Demand Draft payable to "IRCTC Ltd., Mumbai" at the time of joining. This security deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the contract period or upon resignation with proper notice period as per contract terms. The engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of 2 years, extendable by one year based on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements. This engagement does not confer any right, claim, or entitlement for regular or permanent appointment in IRCTC.
Either party (IRCTC or the engaged Hospitality Monitor) may terminate the contract by giving one month's written notice. However, IRCTC reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately without notice if the performance is found unsatisfactory or if any misconduct is observed. Candidates currently working in Government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel or produce a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview, or submit a proper relieving letter at the time of joining if selected.
